Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Dexter Uni-Servo Hydraulic Right Hand Trailer Brake Assembly with parking brake lever. This is for one right hand or passenger's side assembly for your trailer, and this hydraulic drum brake assembly is designed for use with a surge type trailer brake actuator. The parking brake lever is included, and a manual parking brake can be added with the optional kit that we sell separately on our website. You can find that kit using item number T2385200. That is if your trailer is not already equipped with a manual parking break. Now, this is a Uni-Servo style, so it uses a single plunger that delivers around 20% braking when in reverse, and this is a black painted drum break assembly with the pads fully bonded to the shoes, they're not riveted, and that's gonna provide longer life and more braking torque.
The diameter measuring from edge of pad to the edge of pad right across, we're sitting right at 12 inches, and then the width is measured by measuring the width of the pad, and that is going to be at two inches. Now, this is designed to fit 14 1/2 inches, 15 inches, or 16 inch wheel sizes, and the mounting flange bolt pattern, as you can see here, is 5 on 3 7/8 inches, and the mounting bolts are sold separately, so you would have to source those locally. The center hole diameter is 3/4 of an inch, and this assembly is designed for axles with a rating up to 7,000 pounds. Now again, this is for the right hand or the passenger's side, if you are looking for the left hand side, you can find that using item number T2351300. Or if you'd like to get both of these, the left and the right hand, we do sell these as a kit, and you can find that kit on our website, item number T2351300-200.
