Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Titan hydraulic trailer brake for the right hand side of your trailer. The hydraulic drum brake assembly is designed for use with a surge tight trailer brake actuator. This is a Uniservo design that uses a single plunger and piston to deliver the braking force and that delivers around 20% braking when in reverse. It's a really nice unit. Back here, this is the back plate. It has a black paint finish on it and then you will notice that right here is the plug that covers the access hole for when you need to make your adjustments using the fine tooth gear right here.

The adjuster plug is included and it keeps dirt and grim out of the assembly and off the shoes. But again, this star wheel gear here is how you make your adjustments. When it comes to the pads, these are full bonded to the shoes, not riveted. So that's gonna provide longer life and more braking to work and again, this is the right hand or passenger side assembly. Mounting bolts and hardware are sold separately.When it comes to the measurements of the unit, we'll start out by doing the diameter measurement.

That's measured from the edge of one pad going straight across to the edge of the other. That gives us a 12" measurement and then the width measurement is simply the width of the pad from edge to edge and that measures 2" on this assembly. This is designed for wheel sizes 14 1/2", 15" or 16". The mounting flange bolt pattern, this is a five bolt design and the bolt pattern is five on 3 7/8". The center hole has a diameter of 3 1/4" and this assembly is designed for axles with a rating up to 6,000 pounds and that's gonna do it for today's look at the Titan hydraulic trailer brake for the right hand side of her trailer..
