Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Camco RV Winterization Bypass Kit for 6 Gallon Water Heaters. This kit includes the hose and valves necessary to keep antifreeze out of your RV's water heater during the winterization process, which really helps save gallons of antifreeze. It comes with both three way valves that stay connected year round. You'll notice that it has a bypass setting, so you open the valves to bypass setting to direct flow through the hose. Then, you can easily close the bypass to use your water heater as usual. The brass valves are designed to resist corrosion and provide and unrestricted passage for liquid.
This right here is the included hose.It's a nylon reinforced hose that is kink resistant, durable, and mold resistant. Very simple installation. No tools are required. It comes with both valves, one hose, and a roll of PTFE tape, so all that's included. This is an 8" hose that is designed to fit a 6 gallon water heater.

The valves are of the same manufacturer as the ones they replaced as part(seals) do not appear to be available.

The kit worked as it should. I ordered 2 by mistake and was told that I must pay almost $[XX] to return the extra one. I won’t be buying anything more from your company as I can get most everything from [online vendor] with free returns.

These two metals typically take years for the aluminum to corrode. The plumbers tape that comes with the # CAM35953 is designed to protect the metals from contacting each other. If you use enough of the tape you wouldn't have any contact and would be just fine.

Apparently the PVC ones do not hold up well.

Since you are looking to replace your different system with a valve like this the better choice would be either of the kits mentioned based on the water...
