Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this CAMCO RV Water Heater Anode Rod With Drain. Now this is going to fit your aluminum Atwood-style heaters and this magnesium anode rod tracks corrosive elements in your RV water heater. So it's gonna be protecting your tank and elements from corrosion by corroding itself, so it'll extend the life of your water heater and the internal drain valve is going to allow you to drain the water, the water heater rather, without tools and sealer. So that's a nice addition to this.
It's gonna be very easy to use and this has a diameter of half an inch and measuring from the top of the bolt, all the way to the end of the rod itself. Lemme see if I can flip that around there and give you an approximate measurement there. As you can see, we're sitting pretty close to four and a half inches long. Lemme line that up there for you again, just so you have a clear view. So four and a half inches long.

After owning this product for over a year and used it on multiple camping trips. I love how easy it is to drain my water heater after each use and still protecting the tank.
These work great, good for one year, they do the job of prevent corrosion to your water heater.

Must have to prevent corrosion in your water tank, also with drain valve it makes draining your tank much easier..
This will save lots of time when winterizing my travel trailer. Last spring I thought I had filled the heater when I flushed out the anti freeze but had not. When I turned on electric heater with no water the element burnt out .What a pain to change
Great way to drain an RV water heater and retain the anti corrosion protection of an anode rod. Use adequate teflon tape to seal the threads. 5 min installation.
Works great! Allows me to drain water heater easily without removing a pipe plug. It also permits you to keep the anode rode while having a drain cock.
I burnt up the electric element in my old rv as I thought I had changed the bypass valve back and had not. 2 hr to change the element. using this I know there is water inside.
Drain is a joke took out Petcock and plugged
Exactly what i needed. In my case I had to remove the drain valve part so I could use a socket to install the anode, then reinstalled the valve.
I added a 3/4 "to 1/2" brass bushing works fine
Not what I thought it was. For Atwood water heater and I have a suburban. However, it looks like a quality made device.
Working great, so far. I like that it has the release valve so I can drain the tank.

It was the wrong size, never used
This is an awesome product. Works great and I've been using it over a year.
Well worth the money. Especially when you can barely get a wrench back there to take the factory plug off just to drain the tank.
Seems to be doing its job. Very pleased.
Reasonable prices. Product arrived in a timely manor. Product I could not find locally.
Right product at the low price is hard to beat. Good job guys.
