Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this ARB Weekender Recovery Winch Rigging Kit with Storage Bag. Now this basic kit is going to give you the accessories that you need to make recoveries with your winch. It does include everything that you see here, along with these gloves that I'm wearing. And I wanna go over each piece with you just so you have a good idea of what's included with this kit.

First, you're gonna get these two shackles, and of course, as you know, these shackles are gonna give you safe attachment points for your hook, your snatch block, or looped end, the looped ends of your strap. And the shackles do feature a galvanized finish, and these pins are powder-coated, and the shackles have a safe working load limit of 10,470 pounds. And the dimensions of these shackles, let me go ahead and retrieve my ruler here. Let me see if I can give that to you real quick. Looking at the overall width from end to end, looks like we're sitting right at about 3 1/2 inches wide, the overall height, we're sitting pretty close to five inches tall, and the thickness of the screw pin is 3/4 inch.

And as you can see, that's going to screw right into place, just like that. Now, this elastic recovery strap, you're gonna get one of these. And as you can see, I do have it wrapped up and held by this cable tie here just to keep it a little more manageable here on my table. But this elastic recovery strap creates an attachment for your double line rigging and it's going to extend the length of your wire or rope. The elastic is going to stretch to prevent shock or jarring caused by using a static toe strap or chain.

This is constructed of 100% nylon. And the minimum load or the brake strength is 17,500 pounds. And this strap is 30 feet long and about 2 3/8 inches wide. And it has a stretch rate of 20%. And then it does include these really nice leather gloves.

Of course, they're gonna protect your hands from calluses, rope burns, cuts from frayed wire, and it is made out of genuine leather. So they do feel very durable. They're very comfortable. I've had 'em on this whole time, and it's a really nice addition to this kit. And then you do get this heavy duty, water-resistant, very easy to clean PVC storage bag, and this is going to keep all the items of this kit together. And let me go ahead and remove the gloves here. I just wanna give you a brief overview of this bag that's included. It's very durable. As I said, PVC material, so it's gonna hold up really well to the elements. And you have places in this bag for every piece of this kit. So let me go ahead and just show you how all this is going to work together. So I'm gonna go ahead and begin with the shackles. And you just remove the pin here, and then I'm going to use these loops here and I'm gonna go ahead and run the pin through this loop here and then tighten it down, and do the same with this shackle. And, again, I'm sure it's no surprise to you, but each piece is a very high quality, feels like they're going to be very durable, long-lasting, hold up really well for you. And then just running that screw pin through that second loop, tighten it down, just like that. So that's where the shackles are gonna go. It looks pretty nice. And then I'm gonna take our recovery strap and I'm gonna put it to the opening here. It fits right in, just like that. You can see where I have it right there. Then I'll take our really nice gloves and then put it in this front pocket so everything is in there. I'm gonna go ahead and bring the flap around and then buckle it, just like that. And then as you can see, it has this handle and it's got this plastic grip, so it's gonna be very easy to transport, very nice-looking. It's gonna keep everything together, protected. In case you're wondering, the overall height of this bag is about 15 3/4 inches tall, and then the overall width is a little over 11 inches. This also includes a brief guide on the basics of vehicle recovery. So I'm really impressed with the build quality of each piece of this kit. I really like the bag too. Looks like it's got reflective strips here as well so you can see it in low light conditions. The light hits it. But all in all, I think if you're looking for a recovery winch rigging kit and this has all the pieces that you're looking for, this will be a really great item for you to consider.
