A year in I can say this little valve has made camper life more enjoyable. It removed one of the extra tasks I hated doing at the start and end of my camping weekends. If this valve fails it will be replaced immediately. If I bought a new camper it would be the first accessory I buy.

This should have been my first mod years ago on my first trailer. Now I won't have to fight that white nylon/plastic plug every time I drain the hot water tank. Very easy replacement. Ordering from etraoler is easy and fast

Makes draining the tank Sooooo much easier. We drain tank and water lines each time before towing, water is 8.8 lbs per gal, every little bit helps to cut fuel costs. Highly recommended!
P.S. don't forget teflon tape*

Perfect for what I needed!! Was tired of pulling the plug every time I needed to drain the tank!! Makes life so much easier!! Original plug was plastic and this one is made of high quality brass. Would recommend to anyone looking for a better soluttion!

This was just what I needed at a great price. I only needed the 1/4 inch portion of it and it was easily removed from the 1/2" to 1/4" bushing. Works great.

If your water heater has aluminum threads as you mentioned, we do not have a fitting that will work as brass and aluminum will have a galvanic corrosion because they are not compatible metals.
