Gooseneck to 5TH Wheel Adapter using Reese/Draw-Tite Gooseneck Hitch  

Question:

Is there a gooseneck/5th wheel adapter rails to work with the Reese 4494 Gooseneck? I’m looking at your Curt c16210 and asking if it will work or is there another model that will. Thanks

I have a solution as your Draw-Tite Gooseneck # 9468-94 will not allow for a 5th Wheel Adapter. The 5th wheel adapters such as # C16210 require a locking pin that is slid through the hitch and that is something the Reese/Draw-Tite does not have.

I recommend using the Demco Recon #DM8550045. This 5th Wheel hitch will drop onto your gooseneck ball and clamp to it. It is capable of towing 5th wheels up to 21,000lbs and pin weights of 4,000lbs. Please ensure you do not exceed the maximum rating of your truck when towing. The Recon does come apart for easier installation and storage.

Make sure to get a Lube Plate # C16722 to extend the life of your hitch and give you a quieter ride when towing.
