Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this AMPLock trailer coupler lock. This is a tamper resistant sturdy lock that's gonna help deter the theft of your trailer by preventing any would be thieves from hooking up. This will engage in your coupler just like your trailer ball does and will block the ball opening so no one can come along and hook up and take off with your trailer. This will fit with your Atwood gooseneck and flat nose trailer couplers. This does have a heavy duty ductile cast iron construction so it is going to absorb shock to prevent breaking.

It's also going to resist any kinds of cutting including cutting with a torch or liquid nitrogen. And it's got this E-coat finish to help resist corrosion. So it will hold up really well for you. We do have the push and lock cylinder here that's going to lock without needing to have the key inserted. Inside, we do have the rotating disc tumbler lock that's gonna provide maximum security.

That's going to resist picking, bumping, cutting, drilling and freezing. We've got two identically notched keys that will allow you to operate it and disengage the lock there. One of the really nice things about these keys is that they're one of nearly a million possible key codes, so it's extremely unlikely that anyone else is gonna have the same key. So even if someone did have an AMPLock and try and come along and disconnect your lock here it's very unlikely that they would have the same key. So that gives you even more security there.
