After it has been secured, this Blaylock EZ Lock ensures that the inner tube can't be removed from the outer tube of your adjustable gooseneck coupler. Simply position the lock around the set bolt, insert the 3/4" diameter steel pin through the bracket and under the bolt, and secure the pin in place with the included Master Lock padlock.
An additional coupler lock (BLTL-50-40D or BLTL-55-40D - sold separately) is available to prevent unauthorized access to the coupler latch.

Sturdy and solid assembly, easy to install. This should be great security from those who simply remove the pin an install there own lower unit...and disappear with your trailer.

Had to grind the washer hole opening to enlarge it so that it would fit the bolt on my gooseneck horse trailer. Looks nice and tidy and like it will send a thief on to the next one. Shipping was fast and service was excellent.
The product works well as a strong theft deterrant. etrailer was the best price at the time of purchase and their service was excellent.

The last time I ordered a wheel that wasn’t in stock I did not receive a direct answer that the wheel was on back order even though I specifically asked if that particular wheel was on back order.

It is a well thought out product. The lock device for the King Post height adjustment cap screws fits nice. However, the main locking slug for the ball hitch doesn't fit my trailer like it is supposed to. I have a Kaufman trailer and I'm not sure what brand of post they use. The guide tab for the ball lock D-ring is in the way of the Blaylock pin. I am able to rotate the locking device 180 degrees and install it that way. It's a bit sloppy but it will impede a potential theft.
I also fear the longevity of the padlocks. I can see them rusting if left out in the weather for too long. I keep my trailer tarp on when not in use and also flood the padlocks with WD40
I know it is impossible for a "fits everything" product. I think Blaylock would serve themself well if they did research and list all trailer brands that will fit or not fit their product and perhaps, have an alternate choice.
I do recommend looking into this product if anyone is thinking about securing their trailer.
Very well made, seems heavy duty but the weight isn’t bad since it’s aluminum nice fit on my hitch.
Just got the lock a couple days ago. It was very easy to install on the coupling. Seems to fit perfect. Quality seems to be very good. Hopefully I'll never have to find out if it saves the trailer from being stolen.
Something I should have purchased years ago. Fitment was easy. I had to get a bigger washer for the top lock, as my bolt was larger than the washer provide, but no big deal.
Fit perfectly on our new flatbed trailer. It stays in our hay stackyard away from the house, with the new lock we have no worries of it disappearing. Service from etrailer was fast and economical, thank you etrailers !!!!
