Today we will be reviewing part number BP12. This is the Brophy Backing Plate for D-ring tie down anchors. It's going to be an 8 hole design, zinc plated steel, so it's going to resist rust and corrosion. The backing plate is going to reinforce the surface where your D-ring tie down anchor is mounted. It's a simple, bolt on installation. The plate is going to attach directly under the D-ring anchor and on the opposite side of the mounting surface.
This one is going to work well with part number RR01-C or SR10-C. Mounting hardware is not included. We're going to go ahead and take some time to go over the overall measurements real quick. Measuring this direction, it's going to give us an overall length of 6 1/2" with an overall width of 6". It's going to feature 6 holes that are perfectly circular. These are going to measure 5/16" in diameter.
The elongated holes right here, they're going to measure 5/16" wide and I believe 1/2" long. So, 5/16" by 1/2" for these 2 holes here. The distance that we have, center on center, between these 2 holes, that's going to give us a measurement of 4". Center on center between these 2 holes, that's going to measure 4 5/8". Center on center between the 2 elongated holes, that's going to give us a measurement of about 1 1/4".
Center on center between these 2 holes, it's going to measure 1" and center on center between these 2 holes, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2". That's going to do it for our review of part number BP12. This is the Brophy Backing Plate for D-ring tie down anchors. .

The sheet bolts onto the surface of your trailer and sits under the anchor for maximum support.Very easy to install, I did need to modify the holes in order to fit the etrack. These plates make the system extremely reliable and I have no doubts that my motorcycle will be securely fasted to the trailer.
Used these to give my Etrack a little more reinforcement holes line up perfectly gives you that extra bit of confidence when your really cranking on those straps
overall good products. finally...a shorter E track rachet strap! i use these to strap over top of atv tires and they work great. the backing plates are nothin crazy, they work.

Etrack this product is just what I required ,heavy duty construction ,it’s very costly for it to ship to Canada after the Us/CDN exchange plus the shipping but because this is already pre drilled that saves a lot of time and money so it all washes out , very happy with this product!
Looking to find a sturdy backing plate for my e-track and found these online. They show two types and measurements are exactly the same but different price. I went with the less expensive one and they worked perfect! i paid for 3 day shipping and arrived on time. Will buy again when I install more E-track.
The plates were installed and worked as described. I see no way E trac can be done without it. Great overall. product.

It seems to be very well made and have nice plating. However,thru no fault of yours with the D rings that I already have the holes are too small in diameter and need to be re drilled.
Very sturdy and fits the LRB1 d ring tie downs perfectly I purchased.... great purchase.
Actually used these on my motorcycle for mounting side gear. Work great, solid.
Description was complete and accurate. I need to drill one additional hole to adapt the plate to my specific application. The speed of order fulfillment was outstanding.
