Today we're going to be taking a look at the E-Track Plastic End Cap. The plastic end cap is going to give a nice finishing touch to the installation of your floor-mounted E-Track system. The end cap is going to prevent feet, cargo, and equipment from catching on the end of the E-Track. This is designed for use with the horizontal E-Track. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. The overall length measuring from edge to edge is going to measure right at 5-1/4 inch.
The overall width is going to measure 3/4 inch. Then the overall height, that's going to measures 7/16-inch tall. Now, the mount holes on this unit are about 1/4 inch in diameter, so they will accept a 3/16-inch diameter screw. Hardware is sold separately. Those mount holes are going to be separated apart from one another on center by 4-1/2 inches. This would mount at the end of your E-Track system.
I have a piece of E-Track right here. If this was mounted on the floor of a unit or of a trailer or whatever, you would take the plastic end cap, butt it right up next to the E-Track system. You see how it lines up perfectly and it provides a small ramp up to the E-Track which, again, this is going to prevent feet, cargo, and other equipment from catching on the end of the E-Track system. How did you attach the track to the sides of the trailer? Did you use the backing plates? I am getting ready to order the pieces I need for my small trailer. Going to put it on the floor and sides. Any help so I know I am ordering the things i need first shot would be great. Thanks,Bubba
I really like the E-Track Plastic end cap. They were exactly what I need to finish off the ends of the E-Track. The end caps will keep from having a trip hazard and keep anyone from getting cut from the sharp edges, as I had to cut the E-Tack to size for my trailer.

The E-Track Plastic end caps are doing great no issues with them at all. They have held up very well, still look new, after many hauls.I highly recommend them.

These end caps are more of a cosmetic nicety but will prevent an accidental toe stubbing. They are inexpensive but do tend to break if over tightened.
These E-tracks installed relatively easily on my new trailer using the available backing plates. Total install of 18' of track took less than 4 hours - a one man job except for the final tightening of the bolts included in the backing plate kit.
These end caps made our package complete when we installed the E-track systems
Modified this cargo trailer to haul RC airplanes(too big to fit in my pickup) and remove the upper deck to make it useful for hauling other items. This makes a truly utility cargo trailer. Numerous tie downs with Etrack is really great. I have other pics if your interested. I just purchased an enclosed car hauler and I plan on installing Etrack in it. Thanks for making great products !
The only reason for a poor review is that I thought they were designed to encapsulate the ends of etracks
to keep from receiving a bad cut from the raised sharp edges.
It is well made and would work great for its purpose to be floor mounted against the end of a etrack.
The picture was hard to interpret so now I have several that are worthless.

These are designed to work with Kinedeyne horizontal e-track, we havent tested how theyll work with other brands of e-track.
The e-track tie downs were seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made. I have a 72 corvette that I haul to shows and other places. It’s a nightmare to try to tie it down with just straps. The e-track system made it easy. I also use it to tie down my commercial mower. I highly recommend this product
Decked out my new cargo trailer with this e-track. Looks sweet! Heavy gauge construction. Easy installation. Along with the Erickson E-Track straps now I'm ready to haul just about anything safely and securely. Thanks etrailer!
Fits great at the end of the E-track. Keeps small items as well as toes from getting under the track in my toy hauler camper.

Great for protecting toes in my toyhauler
I ordered a variety of e-track components from etrailer to install in my 20ft enclosed Haulmark trailer. With only four factory installed recessed D-rings the trailer offered very few tie down options. Etrailer extensive product catalog provided one-stop shopping and their videos were very helpful when researching configuration and installation options. All products arrived on schedule and I am very impressed with the quality.
Etrailer supplied the equipment I needed at a great price and shipped the the northwest coast with on days from when I placed the order.
All the e-track hardware and equipment was in stock and arrived packaged very well with no shipping damage.
The e-track is heavy duty, much more than I had expected and it was easy to install.
Looking forward to upgrading my trailer even more from etrailer.

I have an Enclosed Trailer that I use to Haul my Harley to Events. All of the E-Track Equipment that I have purchased from you is Outstanding! Wouldn't look anywhere else for my Truck or Trailer parts.
I installed e track on the floor of my trailer and put this end cap on back of the trailer. It makes a clean look and you don't catch stuff on the e track. The parts I ordered came fast and right. This is my second time using them and will definitely order again. Thank you.
The website and service are second to none. I had a question about which product to use and within a couple of hours etrailer had an expert reply, creating a web page with detailed information and links to suggested solutions. Also a photo of the guy who wrote it and his name and email address in case I needed more help. I went ahead and ordered and well within the promised time the box arrived. I still have to get 2 more of these, and I wish they had them for the vertical track. They smooth out the raised ends of the track very well.

Just a comment: I recently bought a cargo trailer and I ordered some parts from you yesterday. I was amazed when I received them today. Works good to cover up the sharp edges on the e-track, just be aware that the holes for this are smaller than the holes for the 1/4" bolts on the e track.
Received E Trac products today. Wow fast shipping. I have inspected the products and everything is of high quality and is what I ordered. Not ready to install yet because I’m waiting on treated lumber to dry out a little to paint it before mounted the E Trac.

I used E-Track to organize my garage and they work great. I highly recommend and would buy this product again.
These simple caps work well. They dress up the end of the e-tracks to eliminate trip hazards and sharp edges.
