Well-made trailer hitch. Have been looking for one for a year for my son-in-law's truck. Would also highly recommend buying any product from etrailer. Prompt service every time.

by:

Perfect fit. Right part. Works fine

by:

Installed easily, pretty much as expect ed.

by:

Very pleased with product, staff very helpful, quick delivery

by:

Exactly what I ordered and well made.

It looks very beefy.

Good heavy Hitch

by:

Just your basic ball mount, the product is just like most 2” Hitch ball mounts, the service wasn’t very good though.
Ordered on June 15th (product was in stock) took them 6 days to send it out, took another 6 days in shipping and got all the way to my post office two days before leaving on vacation (I needed it for the vacation) and the post office said “box was empty and they notified seller” etrailer sent a new one (got here a week after my vacation) in a damaged box (packaging is horrible, little bit of paper in a box with a 5 lbs ball mount) almost lost this one too.
I don’t believe I’ll be using etrailer in the future (had issues before)

by:

My order was missing installation parts, but the etrailer team were quick to correct the issue.

Even without a lift, I was able to install the receiver and brake light cable quickly, thanks to their extensive video libray.

by:

I bought this on my knowledgeable brother's advice - he gave me the exact order number and link to buy from etrailer! I had it installed locally, without complications. I use my truck mostly to haul my horse or my friend's two donkeys in my 14-foot stock trailer. I have no complaints, the hitch does what it's supposed to do.

by:

The hitch is exactly as described on etrailer. The drop measured exactly 9-1/4" as I wanted it to be. Curt rounds this measurement up or down to a whole number, 10" in this case. That is way off when you want your trailer and truck towing level are looking for a particular drop. Thankfully etrailer measures these themselves and show you where they are measuring from so you know what hitch to ask for.

Hitch ball and mounts all ready to the test!!!
Great
Products!!
Five Star e-trailer team, very informative, fast and accurate shipping, perfect packaging and "GREAT" customer service"

by:

The team at etrailer relayed helped find the right solution. Using this ball mount fixed the height issue I had with my SUV not lining up with the trailer. Very grateful for their help.

by:

Looks & works great. Easy to install. Make sure you order or have a locking pin and ball to go with it.

by:

Allows me to open the tailgate on the truck with a trailer hitched up.

by:

Does the job, however there's a lot of play when hitch mount is inserted into the hitch and when towing with an empty trailer. Very loud. Have to buy a silencer that goes around and secures the product.

by:

I bought my first ball mount way back when I was broke (bought the cheapest one in the big box store). With my new trailer I needed 14k capacity instead of 10k so I double checked the mount before buying a heavier duty ball...it was rated for only 5k!! Folks, check those mounts to make sure they're rated for the job!! This one is a honker btw, love it. Side by side with old it's like brick vs bubble gum, embarrassing I haven't upgraded sooner. And thanks for the guidance.

  • Everything Needed for a 2005 Hyundai Tucson to Tow a Trailer
You will need five separate parts to tow a trailer with your 2005 Hyundai Tuscon. You will need a trailer hitch, a ballmount, a pin & clip, a hitch ball, and a wiring harness. You have 7 different hitch options for your Tuscon. I would recommend purchasing and installing a hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening over a smaller 1-1/4 inch hitch opening; the larger hitch will give you a lot more options for accessories. Also, we happen to have a very competitively priced Curt Class III Trailer...

  • What Trailer Hitches Will Fit a 2011 Kia Sorento SX
I have recently spoken to my contact at Draw-Tite regarding Trailer Hitch # 75684. He stated that there are no exclusions for the trailer hitches, except if the vehicle has dual exhaust, which means they should fit all models, including your 2011 Kia Sorento SX unless it has dual exhaust. I have included links to the installation instructions and video. If you plan on doing some towing, the recommended ball mount is # C45010 and you can use ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19247...

Yes, all of our trailer hitches come with the installation mounting hardware. I would recommend the Draw-Tite Xterra Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 75107. In addition to the trailer hitch, you will need the ball mount, pin and clip or lock, ball and wiring harness. If you have the tow package, you can purchase a wiring harness that will plug right into your factory plug. The Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness, Part # 118244. I recommend the Draw-Tite receiver, part # 76116, for your 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 R-Design. The R-Design model likely requires you to remove and trim the rear bumper cover but it's still going to fit. I've lined a video that shows the installation but it's not an R-Design so it doesn't show the trimming unfortunately. The recommended ball mount is one with a 2 inch drop and 3/4 inch rise like the Curt # C45010. It fits hitch balls with a 1 inch diameter shank like 2 inch ball # 63845 and...

  • How to Equip 2013 Ford Explorer for Towing 3500 lb Boat and Trailer
I'd be happy to help with that. The owner's manual states that 3.5L equipped Explorer models can tow up to 5000 lbs 'when properly equipped', but they don't go on to say what 'properly equipped' means. The fact that your vehicle is equipped with the larger engine and the trailer sway feature would leave me to believe your Explorer is properly equipped for towing a boat of your size once the hitch and wiring is added, but I'd recommend checking with your Ford dealer for confirmation. It sure will, and here's why.... The Draw-Tite 76597 which we sell as part # DT94YR doesn't actually install under the vehicle where the exhaust could possibly interfere with the fit of the hitch. The hitch actually installs between the factory bumper/crash beam and the body of the vehicle which is above and rearward of the exhaust. • What BallMount Will Fit 2010 Toyota Highlander With 18 Inch Hitch Height To Use On Multiple Trailers
The standard hitch height that most of the rental trailers are designed for is 17 inches. That will allow the trailer to be towed at the correct level. • What is the Purpose of a Trailer Hitch Ball, Trailer Hitch Pin, and a Clip and are All Necessary
A hitch ball and a hitch pin and clip each serve a different purpose. A hitch ball, like # 19247, attaches to the ball mount, like # C45010, using a large nut that threads on from the bottom, kind of like a nut and bolt. This ball is what the trailer coupler attaches to. The hitch pin like # PC3 goes through the ball mount and the trailer hitch and the clip keeps it from coming out while traveling. There are also locking hitch pins that use a lock and not a clip like # e98880. Basically,...

What you can do to test the sensors ahead of time is to place something that extends about 1 inch from the bumper where the hitch would be. If the sensors pick it up, then there is a possibility they will sense the hitch. I would think it is unlikely since the distance is only 1 inch and a steep angle up to the sensors.
