Is Cutting Or Trimming Required for 2010 Honda Odyssey Trailer Hitch Installation
Question:
Do any of the 2 trailer hitches Curt, Hidden Hitch, Draw-Tite for a 2010 Honda Odyssey require the bumper to be cut? The dealers OEM Honda hitch requires it...then again, the dealer also requires a $150 trailer harness.

Expert Reply:
The CURT Trailer Hitch, # C13068, for the 2010 Honda Odyssey does have an installation note that states models have underbody fascia covering the driver side frame. This will be removed and can be left off or trimmed and reattached. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.
