How Does a Reverse Lockout for Surge Brakes Wire to a Trailer
Question:
The installation does NOT tell you where the wiring is connected up to!

The wiring of the Replacement Solenoid Valve # T4748800 is ran to the reverse light circuit of the trailer's wiring connector.
Basically one wire will get run to the reverse light circuit and the other wire will get grounded on the trailer frame. Doesn't matter which wire.
If your trailer only has a 4-way you will need a # 20036 to convert it to a 5-way so that you can tap into your vehicle's reverse light circuit. Check out the video I attached to the right for more info.
