Highest Capacity Hitch Availability for a 1992 Ford F-350
Question:
What are the dimensions of the c15800? I am looking for a hitch with the highest capacity to fit the frame width of 37 1/4inch on a 1992 ford f350 as long as it is the correct width I do not mind having to drill I also plan on welding plates to outside of frame and down to hitch so mounting tabs must turn inwards and sides of hitch must be close to 37 1/4. Also needs to be 2 1/2inch receiver

The highest rated hitch we offer for your 1992 Ford F-350 that has been confirmed to fit your frame width would be the Curt Hitch # C15300. This bad boy has capacities of 2,400 lbs tongue weight and 16,000 lbs total trailer weight. However this is a 2 inch hitch.
This hitch is specifically designed to fit the larger 37-1/4 inch frames like you have. There will be some drilling required for installation. Check out the install video I attached.
Another heavy duty hitch you may want to consider has dual 2 inch receivers that give you more options. this is TorkLift's SuperHitch Original # TLF1000.
Unfortunately, the # C15800 that you referenced is not confirmed to fit your truck so I would not recommend it for you.
