With the SuperHitch Original's 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender can dramatically reduce your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

I think the product is awesome. Well made, easy assembly and straight forward. It’s expensive and an investment, but it will last well after me. Anodized grade 8 hardware, paint, and fit and finish is at least what I expected, if not more for what I’m paying out of my hard earned paycheck.
The way all of the hardware bolts up and the alignment is 5.0. If I were to have a complaint, it would be that the clearance and or tolerance is to good. It’s a tight fit with hardly any play or slop. The paint gets scraped off when assembling the hitch and receiver together along with assembling my hitch and hardware. I’m having to use clamps and heavy mallets LOL!

Needed to upgrade after buying an 11.5 foot camper. This unit is extremely heavy duty and has the ability to utilize the super truss which we now need to tow. Product was exactly like website, arrived on schedule and had all parts. I installed by myself in about 4 hours. I spent as much time removing my spare tire and stock receiver as I did putting this one on. You need a quality drill with a good bit. Extra hands would be helpful. Instructions we decent not great. Quality piece of equipment.

  • Parts Needed to Tow Horse Trailer Behind Truck with Truck Bed Camper Extending 41 Past Bumper
To start, if you don't already have a Torklift dual hitch like the # TLF1000 on your 1988 Ford F-350 you will need to install one. This will allow you to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers - 48" Long # TLE1548 to get enough clearance from your Lance camper to tow a horse trailer. The SuperTruss has a 600-lbs tongue weight/6000-lbs gross towing weight limit unless you were to use a weight distribution hitch, which would get you to 1,200-lbs/12,000-lbs...

  • What are the Dimensions of TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1000
The overall length of the side plate that attaches to the frame on the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1000 referenced in your question is 22-1/2 inches. The trailer hitch has 6 holes on each side (12 total) and each hole is staggered in length from the next. I have attached an image that shows the dimensions of these holes for you to look at.

  • 24 inch Hitch Extender Recommendation for 1991 Dodge Ram D350
It's not safe to use more than one hitch extender at a time but I do have a solution for you. Since 24 inches is really long for a hitch extender you'd have to go with a Torklift style extender like the part # TLE1524 which will require you to install a Torklift double hitch on your 1991 Dodge Ram D350 like with the # TLF1000 and you'd be set. I realize this is a much more expensive route but it's the only way to pull off what you are looking for and be safe.

  • Will The B&W Trailer Hitch BWHDRH25198 Work With Torklift Rear Camper Tie Downs
No, the B&W trailer hitch # BWHDRH25198 is not compatible with the Torklift camper tie downs. The rear tie downs are only compatible with the Torklift super hitch because it has a 3-1/2" square crosstube. The crosstube on the B&W hitch is more like 2-1/2". For a 1997 Ford F-250 and 350 we do have the Torklift super hitch # TLF1000. This will fit as long as you do not have the 10" deep drop bumper. This will go with the rear tie down # TLR3503. I know the Torklift hitch is quite a bit...

  • Higher Capacity Trailer Hitch that Fits 1995 Ford F-250
We have higher capacity trailer hitches that fit your 1995 Ford F-250 like the Torklift part # TLF1000 but the hitch plate part # 3371809061A does require the truck frame to be 34 inches from outside to outside as that's the cab and chassis frame width range. A 37 inch wide frame like what you have is a standard width for a standard frame/bed design which is what the Torklift is designed to fit.

If you plan to be installing a truck bed camper and you want to tow a trailer then yes, the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLF1000 will absolutely be your best option. The reason for this is because it allows you to use a TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension like part # TLE1542 which will most likely be needed for clearance because of the truck bed camper.
