Wire Loom and Wire Loom Clamp for Routing Power Wire for 7-way install on a 2003 Subaru Forester
Question:
Im planning to install a hitch and wiring for a Tekonsha RF on my 2003 Forester. As far as I can tell, I need to plug an adapter Curt C55370 to extend the 4 way link to the Subaru harness. Then I would use the Hopkins 37185 4 to 4/7 way adapter into that, which Id mount to a DrawTite hitch using the 80140 no drill mount. For the RF, I would only need to use the ground and power wire which would run through a 40 amp fuse to the battery. Rather than using a 10-1-1 wire to run to the battery, I would use the 10-2-1 to allow for a wired controller in the future. Id like to shield the wire with a loom. My question, assuming the setup will work, is what size loom should I use to shield the wire. Im guessing either 1/4 or 3/8inch would work. In either case, what size clamps should I use? Thanks for your help.

You are on the right track with all of the products you are planning on purchasing to install the Prodigy RF brake controller part # TK94FR and then also leave the option to use a different brake controller in the future.
For wire loom I would go with 1/4 inch loom like part # 7509-10 sold in 10 foot sections, and then to secure the loom you could either use zip ties (this is what I did on my car) or you could use the Metal Loom Clamp # A0250 for a more permanent solution.
