Best Way to Add a 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2010 Mazda CX-9
Question:
I am installing your hitch on my 2010 AWD CX-9 - as for wiring harness, I do not use a 4 flat, I have the larger round adapter that just plugs in about the diameter of a silver dollar - do you offer that for my 2010 Mazda

It sounds like you are talking about a 7-Way trailer connector. To install a 7-Way trailer connector on your 2010 Mazda CX-9 you will start by installing a 4-Way using harness # 118520. I have linked a video to the right showing how it installs.
Then to add the 7-Way you will need # ETBC7. I have included a couple of links that explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
If the trailer does have electric brakes you will need a brake controller to activate them. I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and easy to use.
If the trailer does not have electric brakes then you would use # 37185 to add a 7-Way and you would not need the brake controller.
