Location of Brake Controller Connector on 2005 Ford F150
Question:
where is the OEM connection on my 2005 f150 lariat with towing pakage? I want to install the Primus brake controller.

Expert Reply:
The connector for installing your brake controller is located under the dash. Directly under the steering column, you will see the diagnostic port. The port for the controller is located above and behind, as you can see in the photo I've provided.
To wire the controller, you'll need the brake controller wiring adapter, part # 3035-P. Simply plug one end of the controller into the rear of the Primus brake controller, and the other end into the connector under the dash.
For more information, refer to our brake controller installation video for the 2004 F150. The install procedure for your truck would be identical.
