Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the 24 inch long battery clamps for the NOCO Boost Max GB500 Jump Starter. Now, these battery clamps will let you extend the reach of your Boost Max GB500 Jump Starter an extra 24 inches, allows for nice quick connection to any 12 volt or 24 volt battery. Now, these battery clamps are compatible with the cam-lock connectors that are on the Boost Max GB500 Jump Starter. The cables connect to the GB500 using these cam-lock connectors that'll let you quickly attach or disconnect the battery clamps, and I wanna zoom in just to show you up close what we're talking about. If you noticed, there's a little raised section here.

So to attach these cables, what you'll do is line up this raised section of the plug to fit into the opening of the cam-lock connector port, push it in there, once it's connected, you just twist the cable, and then that'll lock the cable in place, so this will prevent from coming loose or accidentally disconnected during use. Also, unlike typical plastic battery clamps, the Boost Max clamps are constructed entirely of metal, ensures maximum conductivity, and then the clamps themselves are covered with an over-molded plastic housing, which makes them easy to operate even when you have work gloves on. When you do squeeze this, it will give you a wide two inch span that'll fit any terminal size, and the high tension springs, you can see it really takes a lot to squeeze these open, and those high tensions springs will allow it to stay attached to the terminals. The size of the cable is a nice 2/0 AWG size silicone cable, and you can see it's very durable that it will remain flexible even in cold weather, so you won't have to struggle while positioning the clamps in place. Lots of times, when you get into that large of a cable, it's hard to make them flexible, but these are very flexible.

Now, these are heavy-duty battery clamps, they're designed for jump starting both 12 volt and 24 volt gas and diesel engines. They are a heavy-duty design, they'll transfer maximum current with minimal power loss. Cord length again, each one is 24 inches long, and if you noticed, they do come with this nice storage bag. And when you're done using them, you just put them in the storage bag to keep them all together and to protect them. Just coil them up, go ahead and slide them in there together, and then once you to get them all the way in there, has a draw string on it, pull that draw string, and you can carry your cables with you.
