Hello I just bought a Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack from you guys and was wondering which Tonneau cover is compatible with it that you sell?

Hey Chris,

Because the Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH27000XTB clamps to the lip of the bedrails it won't be compatible with any tonneau cover. You would need Thule's stake pocket mounted version the TracRac SR # TH43002XT-508 (5.5' bed), # TH43002XT-501 (6.5' bed), # TH43002XT-000 (8' bed).

With a stake pocket mounted ladder rack you could install a tonneau cover that sit inside the bedrails. What is the length of your bed and what kind (soft roll-up, soft folding, hard folding, retractable) of tonneau cover would you like?

5.5' bed I would like the hard folding if possible or retractable. Which one do you recommend?

@Chris If you want to go with with a hard folding cover then I recommend the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK96FR. This cover sits within the bedrails and the seals on the sides won't protrude enough to block the stake pockets. If you want a retractable cover then you'll want to go with one that has t-slot rails like the Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # PE99UV and then you could go with a ladder rack like the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Tonneau Cover Adapters # Y01151-5855. This rack comes with adapters to mount into the t-slots of the cover rails for easy installation and adjustmen.

@KevinC Thanks I went with a slightly different modem of T cover but it is retractible Its the PE29UV Seems like it would work from what you described

@Chris The Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # PE29UV does not have t-slots in the rails but based on the installed pictures I can find should clear the stake pockets. You might have a bit of a clearance issue with the rails and base for the # TH43002XT-508 but could most likely get past it by installing the cover first and then the ladder rack, the base for the rack will likely just sit a bit crooked on the bedrails.
