Would Camco Roof Vent Cover Reduce Air Flow with Roof Vent
Question:
I installed Heng Vortex II fans in two of my RV roof vents and covered the vents with 14X14 Camco roof vent covers. However, I am not getting much draw either in or out from these two fans. They are rated at 188 cfm. I am wondering if the Camco roof vents are two small to allow full air flow for the Hengs. If so, is there a different vent cover you would recommend for me to use with these two Heng fans?

Have you tried checking the air draw when the cover is off of the vent? I would try that first to verify that the problem is the vent cover and not just the fan speed. 188 CFM isn't really a high volume so it could very well be just the nature of the fan.
