Scissor Jack Options With A Low Retracted Height

Question:

How tall is the unit when fully retracted? That is, how many inches from the bottom of the frame of the trailer to the bottom of the foot of the jack. Im concerned about ground clearance when going down the road or into a bumpy campground. My current stabilizer jacks are still at 5-3/4 inches when cranked up as much as possible. It looks like they are not retracting fully. I would replace them if it gave me another 1-1/2 inch of clearance. They are currently the thing thats closest to the ground.

Hello Al. The Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24 has a retracted height of 5". Meaning if the current jacks are at 5-3/4" you will gain 3/4" of clearance.

if you are looking to gain as much clearance as possible, I suggest you take a look at the Leveling Scissor Jack Set # JSC-30. These have a retracted height of 4" and will be the "shortest" scissor jacks we offer.
