Recommended Flat Towing Solution For 2022 Ford Bronco With Modular Bumper and Winch

Looking for a flat tow solution for 2022 Ford Bronco it has a winch mounted. Photo is attached. Is there a plate to install that will replace the tow points? Is there a better solution?

I do see the winch and mount you found is for attaching to the Ford Modular bumper on your 2022 Bronco. For this I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM92ZR. Roadmaster has one of the best reputations for quality and testing among all the brands we carry. Here is a list of the other components that will be required for flat towing your Bronco.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-676
Roadmaster Accessory Kit for Nighthawk Tow Bars # RM-9284-2
Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Flat Tow Brake System # HM39524

You will need to determine if your Bronco has variable voltage tail lights which your dealer should be able to easily tell you. If so you will need either the LED Diodes # RO54FR or Incandescent Diodes # RO34FR to replace the standard diodes in the accessory kit above.

Finally you will need to determine if the mounting points for the tow bar are going to be within 3" of each other from the front of your Bronco to your tow vehicle receiver. If not you will need one of the adapters from the list below.

4" Rise/Drop # RM-048-4
6" Rise/Drop # RM-048-6
8" Rise/Drop # RM-048-8
10-1/4" Rise/Drop # RM-048-10
