Lift Kit that Can Fit 2017 Jayco Hummingbird RB

Will the K71-384-00 lift kit work with a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird RB? It has a single axle bolted to the chassis with rubber torsion suspension and no leaf springs. If so, will I have to adjust my WDH and will tow handling be adversely affected with the higher trailer center of gravity?

The Dexter Over Under kit only works on trailers that have leaf spring suspension. We do have torsion axle lift kits like what you have on your trailer but we would need to know what brand and capacity your axle is. From previous customers most likely you would need the part # LC270682 which fits Lippert 3,500 lb torsion axles. You would need to verify that is correct though.

You would need to raise the head on your weight distribution shank to match the correct height to allow the trailer to sit level.

Yes, the Lippert lift kit part #LC382741 does fit your Lippert square 3,500 lb axle. The additional height shouldn't really affect the handling much.

I don't see any issue with installing an axle flip kit on a drop axle aside from the shape of the axle as we only offer kits for rounds axle, the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit part #K71-384-00 or part #K71-385-00.
