Fascia Trimming to Install Curt C77NR Hitch on 2023 Kia Niro

Im installing a Curt C77NR hitch on my 2023 Kia Niro hybrid and Im wondering if the rear bumper fascia needs to be trimmed. The installation instructions show trimming of the fascia but the images in the instructions show a first generation pre-2023 Niro bring worked on. Can you confirm whether or not the fascia on a 2023 Niro needs to be trimmed?

In order to install the Curt # C77NR on your 2023 Kia Niro hybrid, you'll need to trim a small portion of the underbody panel, not the fascia. The trimmed portion won't be very visible from the rear, it'll be more so from underneath. The directions for trimming that panel are shown in step # 7 of the installation instructions we've linked for you.
