Recommended Parts to Convert a 2020 Grand Design Momentum 5th Wheel to Disc Brakes

I have a 2020 grand design momentum 349 m class double axle. Which kit and accessories would I need to convert my stock drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes. Also can you guys install or recommend a place to install them. If so how much would it be. Thanks

We definitely have all the parts you will need to convert your your 2020 Grand Design Momentum 349M 5th Wheel toy hauler to disc brakes. There isn't one complete kit but I have listed all of the parts you will need below.

Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 13" Hub/Rotor - 8 on 6-1/2 Lug Pattern item # K2HR712. You will need one per axle.

Hydrastar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator w/ Line Kit for Disc Brakes item # CAR-HBA16-2. You will just need one. The actuator kit comes with all the needed brake lines and brackets.

Bearing Kit for Trailer Brakes with 13" Hub/Rotor and 1/2" Bolts item # DBRKHW7. Two per axle.

You will also want to make sure your brake controller is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes (EOH). If not you will want the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 item # 90195.

As far as installation goes you will want to go to any of our product pages and on the left side below any pictures and videos will be a blue linked titled, Locate installers near me. Click on this link and put your zip code in. This will provide you a list of installers in your area that are a part of our network. I have no idea what the cost of this conversion will be you would need to get a quote from the installers.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit part #K2R1058D11 Dexter 10 rated axles. They will need to be 8-288, 2 piece hub built from Feb. 1990 to Aug. 2009. Yours fits the age range so theres a strong chance this is the right kit.
