How to Use 6" Drop Ball Mount and Hitch Bike Rack on 2017 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
I was wondering if this product comes with a 6 inch drop? I primarily tow a 2010 Jayco Jay Series 1208 with a 2017 Chevy Tahoe LT, but want to attach a Thule bike rack as well. Thanks!

I have an alternative solution for you but it will look a little different than the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount # D210 as the 2" drop you're seeing is pretty standard.
To tow your trailer and carry your Thule bike rack I recommend checking out the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-204 which gives you the upper receiver as well as a 5" drop for the lowest receiver. If you have a ball mount with a 1" drop then that's what you'll use for this application, otherwise I recommend picking up the Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45151 in the second to last receiver as this ball mount has a 3-1/2" drop.
