I would be happy to help you. Both the Curt item # C12058 and the Draw-Tite item # 36287 trailer hitches are confirmed to fit your 2008 Cadillac DTS. The hitches are identical in everyway except for the name stamped on them. They have the same capacity, installation method, and dimensions. I recommend going with whichever one is the least expensive.
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118535 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your Cadillac as well. It will provide you with a 4-flat vehicle connector to control your trailer's lighting functions.
For a ball mount you'd need the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
