Is There a Front Mount Trailer Hitch That Will Fit a 2009 Chevy Express Van 2500
Question:
I am looking for a front mount hitch for my van. So far no luck. I am willing to use another if it can be retro fitted? Maybe one of the other chevy truck models have same frame? Thanks,

In 2003 there was a design change in the frame of the Chevy Express Van which consequently affected the ability to install a front mount hitch in the vehicle. The last year that there was a front mount trailer hitch available for that vehicle was 2003.
My technical contacts at both Curt and Draw-Tite are unaware of a front mount hitch that will fit your 2009 Chevy Express Van.
Retro-fitting a trailer hitch to fit your vehicle is not recommended. Getting a hitch to fit your van may require alterations that negatively affect the strength of the hitch. The primary fear is that the attachment points between the hitch and the vehicle might fail which could possibly expose the user to danger and possible legal liability.
