Are MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers Recommended for Horse Trailers

Question:

I have a horse trailer 35” wheelbase, want to upgrade suspension, but I havent seen a cre3000 installed on them, the installations are on travel trailers. Is it recommended for horse trailers? Best regards.

The MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers # MR27ZR would be a great addition to your horse trailer and I highly recommend them. These are designed for any tandem-axle trailer like yours with a 35" wheelbase and work with up to 8,000 lb axles.

Installing the CRE3000 on your horse trailer will provide you and your horses with a more comfortable ride while reducing stress on your trailer frame. These have up to 3" of up-and-down travel which gives your trailer the ability to compensate for different types of terrain. Since you will be replacing the equalizers, it is also a good time to upgrade your shackles and bolts.

I recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers for heavy duty shackles and wet bolts. You will need to measure your current shackles to determine which kit is right for you. If you have 3-1/8" long shackle straps you need the # MR76ZR and for 2-1/4" long shackle straps the correct kit is the # MR46ZR.

I have attached some review videos for your reference.
