Width of 3,500 lb Hydraulic Trailer Brakes AKUBRK-35-D
Question:
I have a boat trailer with 3500 axles. AKFBBRK-35-D says 2-1/4 inch drums. Is that the actual width of the brake shoes. My shoes are 2-1/4 but the drum depth is 2-1/2.

I could not find where it said "2-1/4 inch drums" though what I can tell you is the width of the shoes is 2-1/4 inches on the 3,500 lb hydraulic brakes:
- Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Dacromet - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies # AKUBRK-35-D
This kit includes the Right Hand # AKFBBRK-35R-D and Left Hand # AKFBBRK-35L-D brakes, and to install requires Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B.
