You have two options of a hitch for your 2017 Hyundai Sonata, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C11402 and the Draw-Tite Sportframe, # 24965. I prefer the Curt option that is assembled in the USA and noted for having a superior powder coating. Each of these options have the same specs of being a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. They are rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 2,000 lbs. and a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs. Meaning that the vertical load on these hitch options should not be more than 200 lbs. Since your Ruckus is itself 200 lbs. that takes the entire rating without consideration of the carrier. The appears the EGO Carrier has a load capacity of up to 500 lbs. but you will not be able to take advantage of the full spec rating of the carrier when used with this hitch, since it is limited to 200 lbs. max. Additionally, your carrier is probably for a 2" receiver but the Hyundai only has a 1-1/4" available. To use your carrier you would need something such as the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter, # e43YR. This component will allow a 1-1/4" (Class I or II) hitch to be used with a 2" accessory, using this adapter will reduce your hitch's weight capacity by 50 percent.
I suggest the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer, # K2MMT4X6 be used along with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C11402 and the needed Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # C56390. With this, you can quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Hyundai Sonata. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in the rear cargo area.
The Detail K2, # K2MMT4X6 has a 1-7/8" ball coupler, I suggest the Curt, # C45571 Euro Style Drawbar with 1-7/8" ball and a 2-5/8" rise along with the Curt Hitch Pin and Clip for 1-1/4" Hitches, # F-4.
