Do I Need to Cut Wheel Well Panel to Install Curt Hitch on 2022 Ford Bronco Sport
Question:
I'm going to be installing the Curtis C76HR hitch on my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. I saw in your video that you had an issue with the wheel well panel. What do you recommend I do, cut it off or just fold it like you guys did?

Great question! When we installed the Curt Hitch Receiver # C76HR on the 2021 model Ford Bronco Sport (see attached) our installer ended up just tucking that wheel well panel up next to the frame rail instead of cutting it (see video starting at about 4:00 minute mark). Shane is a great installer and I really like the work that he does so since he just tucked it up by the frame that's what I would do. You're more than welcome to cut it if you'd like, but tucking it up under the vehicle is sufficient so I don't see the need to give yourself more hassle.
If you plan on doing some towing then I also recommend picking up the T-One Wiring # TK46FR, mounting brackets # 18144 and # 18140, as well as the ball mount kit # C45534 to round out your towing setup.
