Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in the rear cargo area. You will have to remove the plastic threshold cover, side panels, and cargo trays to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
ModuLite Powered Tail Light Converter
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Worked as advertised! I installed the harness myself out on my driveway. Snaking the power wire under the car to the battery was tricky. Would have been easier, if I had access to a car lift, but I had a set of 1/4" fiberglass pulling rods that did the trick!

I had this wiring harness installed professionally. They told me it went in with no problems. They asked me to find a plug and play harness. They were having trouble sourcing one for such a new vehicle and didn't want to do an installation that involved splicing wires on my Bronco Sport. This seemed to be the best price and option I could find. Paired the harness with the Curt 13474 receiver. That receiver leaves the OME bumper plate in place and the receiver fits below and slightly forward of the bumper, adding more metal to absorb impacts from behind. Other receiver options replace the bumper plate with no net gain in strength. I had them route the wiring for the connector into the wheelwell for the spare. When connecting to the trailer, the wires will extend out the lift gate. That way the wiring is out of weather and not exposed scrap or snag if I am off road.

I'm by no means a mechanic, so I was initially nervous about installing anything electrical related on my new Bronco Sport. I looked at other wiring harnesses, and they required splicing wires, which made me even more nervous. But the T-One connecter didn't require any splicing and was easy to install. I also applaud the step-by-step installation video. It was was VERY helpful. Thanks much!

This took care of the lighting for our litte RV. I didnt have to splice into the wiring on our brand new vehicle. The instructions were easy to follow. took me about an hour and a quarter from start to finish.

Excellent product I installed it in about 3 hours ran positive line through the wire conduit on the drivers side and to the fuse block avoiding the running of wire under vehicle as some video suggested didn’t think that was to smart anyway direct plug in at taillights no splice installation works great
