How to Lower Ramp Cargo Carrier for Easier Loading Angle
Question:
I bought a heavy duty cargo carrier with ramp for my 2010 Ford Expedition to transport large snowblowers 275-300lbs. The ramp angle is too steep and I need to drop the height 6 in for a better loading ramp angle. From prior responses I know the RM will not work, what is a better option?? Thank you

For your application I recommend checking out the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-504. This has a max rise/drop of 7-1/2" inches and is compatible with a 2" hitch receiver like what you have.
I do recommend using the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Clamp # GY88XR to help stabilize everything and then the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock # 34061072-D to secure your investment.
