Hidden Trailer Hitch and 7-Way/Brake Controller for 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude
Question:
I have a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and need help finding a wire harness I can use to install a 7 way tow connector. I would like to use the trailer hitch that goes through the bumper for the OEM look while maintaining a class 4 tow rating.

To install a 7-way on your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude you'd need to first start with a 4-way like the # C62VR which is a confirmed fit so that you could then convert to a 7-way with the # 37185. Now if the trailer you plan to tow has brakes you'd need to go with a different 7-way adapter # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to install a brake controller like the easy to use and very reliable Brake EVN # TK63VR.
This would work great with the Draw Tite hitch # DT38MR which locates the hitch opening behind the fascia panel like you are wanting it to.
