Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness For 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee With Factory Tow Package
Question:
Hello, my question is regarding a 2015 jeep grand cherokee with towing package, I know I could use an adapter but I will have to go to the dealer to reprograming the car to have working lights, I contacted dealership and it will cost me 250 dollars to do that, now is there any wiring I could buy that I could conect straight to the brake lights. If so can u tell me with part I could buy. Thank u

If your 2015 Grand Cherokee has the factory tow package, you will have a connector at the rear of your vehicle behind the bumper.
The harness I recommend is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C55774. This just plugs into the round connector behind the bumper and you will then have a 4-way and a 7-way connector.
Unfortunately, you will need to have the computer re-flashed to get the system up and running. I would check with a couple of dealers to make sure you are getting the best price.
