I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee Altitude I want to install a hitch on for a bike rack. It doesn’t come stock and I hate the uhaul hitch look. What are my options

You have a few really great options, the first is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 75699. This is a custom fit, class III - 2" hitch with maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. 7,500 lbs. when used with a weight distribution system, although always defer your vehicle specific owners manual for your vehicles max weight ratings and follow the lower of the two numbers. For bike racks and cargo carriers it has a tongue rating to 500 lbs. This is a very good hitch at a great price point and that rating will meet if not exceed you specific vehicles rating.

We also have the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, # DT38MR. This class IV hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 7,500 lbs. with a tongue weight rating of 1,125 lbs. and while it has a higher rating, its use is still limited by your specific vehicles max weight ratings. But rest assured with this whatever fully loaded bike rack is used with your 2018 Grand Cherokee Altitude, you can be secure in knowing that your hitch can handle the weight.
