How much can I tow with my 2022 Hyundai Palisade and what would I need to tow a trailer?

The towing capacity of a 2022 Hyundai Palisade is 5,000 lbs for trailer's with brakes and 1,653 lbs for trailer's without brakes. In order to tow a trailer you'll need a trailer hitch and for this I recommend the etrailer Hitch Receiver part # e95ZR.

Then you will need to add trailer wiring and for this I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # CU94FR. Finally, you'll need the Ball Mount Kit part # 989899.

Please note, if the trailer has brakes then you'll need a 7-pole and brake controller in addition to the above. The best two options for this are the 4 to 7-Pole with 4-Pole Adapter part # ETBC7L and Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller part # C51180 since they require the least amount of modifications to the vehicle. There is no drilling or splicing for either of these parts, most other options like this will require both.
