What is the Overall Length of the Thule T2 Replacement Ratcheting Arm # 752-1272-001
Question:
I have an older model Thule 918xtr. The lock is in the plastic handle. This new replacement has a cable in the end that pulls out with a lock and can be locked to the bike, which would work better. Your website says the OAL of the new bar is 20 1/2. My existing arms are 27 1/2inch center of pivot tube to end do the tube. Is yours correct? Im guessing it isnt? Could you verify this?

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a replacement arm for T2 bike racks, # 752-1272-001, to measure it. The measurement I came up with from the center of the pivot end to the end with the lock was about 30-1/2 inches. Overall length is 31-1/2 inches. These measurements should be more in line with the original arm.
