Replacement Arms Assembly Needed for Older Thule T2 Classic to Accommodate 29 Bike Tires

Question:

I have a Thule T2 classic rack. It has the original size arms. I read that I can buy longer arms to fit over my 29 inch bike tires. Whats the part number?

If you have the older version of the Thule T2 Classic (pre 2012) then you can replace your ratcheting arms with part # 752-1272-001 which has an overall length of 31-1/2" and will accommodate your 29" bike tires.

If you check out the attached picture that a customer sent in you can see that this arm assembly allowed them to fit a 29" x 3" tire on their bike rack.

To ensure that you can still use the same key for all of the locking components on your bike rack you can use either part # TH450200 (qt 2) for just the ratcheting arms or part # TH450400 (qt 4) for the arms and the locking hitch pin.
