Looking For A Replacement Hub For a Boat Trailer Built Around 1976

Question:

Do you have a boat trailer hub that measures 4.5inch between lugs and fits Bearings LM67048 and Races 67010? Seal number is 203013. This is an older trailer manufactured about 1976. Thanks.

Though I do have an alternate solution, we will not have anything matching this bolt pattern and bearing combo, unfortunately.

With that being said, your best option will be to replace the axle with one that uses more common parts. I included a link to our axle page for reference, but as an example, the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles # T3584F-EZ-8974 is rated to 3,500 pounds and will measure 89" from hub face to hub face and 74" from the center of one spring seat to the center of the other. This also uses the very common Dexter #84 spindle, which uses the # L68149 inner bearing and # L44649 outer bearing. This will allow the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 84545UC1-EZ to slide onto the spindle, but this uses the 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, which measures 2-5/8 from the center of one lug to the center of the lug right next to it.

As this will be different from your current bolt pattern, you will need to swap your wheels out as well. This will also depend on the size needed, but the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Black Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C - Black Finish # AM32238B is highly recommended. The powder coat finish has good corrosion resistance and is significantly better looking than galvanized wheels, in my opinion.

So with all that being said, you will need to do some measuring to make sure you get the correct parts and sizes, but this will be the best option we currently have for you.
