Correct Braking Assemblies for 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud 28RB
Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud 28foot trailer. It has two 15inch wheels per side and Dexter axles with Neverlube bearings and Nev-R Adjust brakes. I crawled under the Airstream and measured the brake backing plates - they are 13" across, so the trailer must use 12" Dexter brakes. If you could, let me know the part number to order to get all four assemblies (Dexter brand with Nev-R Adjust brakes, no parking brake), and also some heat shrink sealed crimp connectors for the wires.?

The correct braking assemblies for a 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud 28RB is the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-458-459. The Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector part # DW05745-5 can then be used to seal the wiring connections. If you want to replace the hardware as well we have the Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12" Brake Assemblies part # BRKH12.
