Question:

Im looking to cross some parts here are the specs . Part # BPH1206EPR This hub/drum assembly contains everything you need to replace your hub/drums and brakes on your trailer. This assembly works for a spindle that has a 1-3/4 inner bearing surface to a 1-1/4 bearing surface. The 12 x 2-1/2 hub/drum has a 6 bolt on 5-1/2 bolt circle with a 3,000 lbs capacity PER side. Fits 6,000 lb axles. This also includes a 5-bolt electric backing plates. Rated at 3,000 lbs each / 6,000 lbs per pair. 10- 3/8 x 1-1/2 bolts, nuts and lock washers are included. Also included are the bearings and seals. Seals included is a double lip 2 SL-213 with a 3.375 outside diameter and a 2.125 inside diameter, .313 thickness. 2 L-25580 inner bearings 1.75 I.D, 2 L-15123 outer bearings 1.25 I.D, 2 cotter pins, 2 dust caps and 12 1/2-20 lug nuts. DO you have a kit that will work for my application, I have only found one option for the 2 1/2 in pads. Can this be done in a more versatile manner? Thanks Brian

Hello Brian, we do offer some parts that will work for your application and will be very similar to the BPH1206EPR kit that you mentioned. Like you said, the 12 x 2-1/2 drums are pretty uncommon, so I would have to recommend going instead with the standard 12 x 2 drums which will be readily available. Take a look at the parts below. Aside from the drum depth specs will be identical.

Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 - Pre Greased # 8-201-9UC3-EZ

Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 6K # 23-458-459

Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12" Brake Assemblies # BRKH12

Hey Jesse thanks for the info, I have the numbers off the drum I crossed also now and does not make since. Here is what is on the drum. Tru Ryde RVD-H-655 SV10 181203 Could you double check this info to cross to more common size, and is there different options than the first you sent me Sorry since this trailer is used daily I have not torn apart to measure due to down time Thank you for all your time in this matter. @Brian So the RVD-H-655 still crosses over to a 6 on 5-1/2" hub like the part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ that I mentioned. This hub uses the 2.125" ID grease seal # GS-2125DL. Most of the other hubs in this size use a 2.25" ID seal. So you could potentially use a hub such as part # AKHD-655-6-G-EZ-K. You would just need to purchase the # GS-2125DL seals separately. As far as the brakes there are other equivalent options. My recommendation would be part # AKEBRK-7-D.
