How To Determine If 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 Has Long Or Short Wheel Base

Hello, I have a 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6, and I do not know if I have regular wheel base, or extended. How would I find this out exactly? Thank you

To figure out if your 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 has the short or long wheel base would be to measure from the center of the rear wheel to the center of the front wheel, or you can call your local GM dealer with your VIN and they should be able to look it up for you.
If you get a measurement of 113" then you have the short wheel base, and if you get a measurement of 121" then you have the long wheel base.
With that said the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75278 you were looking at fits both the long and short wheel base so you do not need to worry about it causing a fitment issue.
If you are planning on towing a trailer with your vehicle you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118396, and a ball mount. I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct ball mount, and a link to all of our ball mounts for you to take a look at.
In addition I included install videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at as well.
