Correct Front Mounted Receiver for 2005 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Hi, Im getting a little confused looking at all of the different truck mounts. I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4. What is the correct front mount for the K2AVAL8422 plow? Thanks.

The # K2AVAL8422 K2 plow attaches to the vehicle using a standard front mounted hitch.
The hitch you need will depend on whether your Silverado is a 1500 or a 1500 HD model. The easy way to differentiate between the two is the hubs. The 1500 has 6 bolt hubs while the 1500HD has 8 bolt hubs.
If you have the 1500 model, I'd recommend the Curt # 31302. If you have the 1500HD model, use the Curt
# 31108.
