There will be two options for adding a plow to the front of your 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic. Keep in mind that both of these options will be for the 1500 LD model of Silverado, but with that being said, let's get into it.

The First way to go about adding a plow will be using a front mount hitch, like the Curt # 31302. This allows the Detail K2 Elite Snowplow # K2AVAL8422ELT to attach to your truck without the need of custom brackets.

The other option is the Custom Mounting Brackets # K283013. Once installed, these will fit close to your vehicle without protruding out beyond the bumper, so it is a lot less exposed than a front mount hitch. The Detail K2 Storm II Elite Snowplow # K2STOR8422ELT will then attach to these brackets quickly and easily.

Both of these blades will measure 84" wide x 22" tall and have a 3 position capability (45 degrees left, straight, and 45 degrees right). Both also have wireless remotes making switching between these three setting nice and easy. Both also have adjustable flip-down caster wheels which allows you to roll the plow where you need it for mounting or storage.

So in short, both of these are great options for adding a snow plow to your truck, but I prefer the front mount hitch option. This is due to the hitch having more than just one use. You can mount a bike rack or mount a winch and many other things. The custom brackets are nice, don't get me wrong, but I prefer things that are not unitaskers.
