When choosing a weight distribution system you will want your trailer tongue weight, when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle, to be near the middle of the system range. For a tongue weight of 1,100 pounds, you would want to go with # RP66561, 700 to 1,400 pounds tongue weight capacity. For a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 63840.
I have included a link to our FAQ article on weight distribution and sway control for you.
For a jack, if you need an A-Frame jack you will of course want one that exceeds the tongue weight of the trailer. The Stromberg Carlson # SC63VR, is a good jack rated at 4,500 pound capacity. The excess rating means that it will work smoothly and effortlessly. It also has stops to prevent over extending or retracting.
