What is Needed to Replace the Gearbox of an Atwood 75721

Question:

2007 Jayco Eagle with Atwood 75721 electric motor and gearbox seems the gearbox is broken and I need to replace ASAP. Best fit? I would think replacing both would be best given their age? Right now, I cant get my trailer off the truck, so the sooner I can do this, the better.

I have a solution for you.

First, though, to replace the gearbox for your Atwood 75721, you'll need to replace the motor along with the gearbox since there aren't any gearboxes made for that motor any longer. As you mentioned, due to the age of both of these components, it's probably a good idea anyway.

For the motor, you can use the Replacement Motor for Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear, part # LG-142178.

For the gearbox, you can use the Replacement Gearbox for Venture Aluminum Electric 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Assemblies, part # LC276602. This gearbox is compatible with the motor above.
